This facility offers a variety of options for meetings, conventions, special events, banquets, and areas for sporting events. Choose our Worland Community Center (WCCC) facility for the perfect atmosphere in providing areas for seminars, family reunions, group outings, client consultation, training seminars, and video conferences. Our professional staff will ensure your event goes off without a hitch and that you find a facility that not only looks professional, but features the equipment and amenities you require.Worland Community Center Complex Gym We have several small classroom-style meeting rooms for up to 30 persons. Meetings such as seminars, employee team building activities, or fun family reunion events can take place or be planned from the convenience of these meeting spaces. For larger groups we can accommodate up to 500 for receptions, banquets or lectures. Large Conference Room with 12’w by 10’h screen and overhead projector, sound system and wireless internet access available. Worland Community Center ComplexA full commercial kitchen is on-site for your convenience with catering available. The WCCC also provides a sporting facility which includes recreation soccer, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, dance, music and karate. The WCCC is also a place where visitors can walk for exercise and utilize our open gymnasium. Passes to the Worland Health Club are also available in conjunction with the WCCC. Our facility can accommodate outdoor shows, trade shows, circuses and many other outdoor events.

The new 25,000 sq. ft. Washakie Museum & Cultural Center opened May 2010.

The Washakie Museum & Cultural Center brings the past to life using four fascinating permanent exhibits to portray the relationship between the historical people of the Big Horn Basin and their environment. The unique physical geography of the Big Horn Basin and its world-class archaeological sites allow the Museum to offer one of the finest interpretive centers for local human history, from ancient mammoth hunters through early settlers, as well as the geology, archaeology and paleontology of our area. The Museum also serves as a center for the visual and performing arts, conferences, conventions, and other gatherings.

The Museum also offers temporary and traveling exhibits in art, history, and other subjects to compliment its permanent exhibits and to introduce and interpret a wide variety of cultural experiences for visitors.

The state-of-the-art facility can be rented for conferences, class reunions, meetings, other special events and art performances. It has full amenities including a commercial kitchen, 200″ screen and overhead projector, stage, risers, acoustical shell and PA system. 2,600″ sq ft of conference/meeting area can be divided into separate areas. The facility seats 200 at rounds or 300 at banquet tables.  24 Round Tables seating 8 each are available.

Two meeting rooms, A & B. Both are well lit and IT and audio/visual services are available. Offers Information Technology and Audio/Visual; Video conferencing; Teleconferencing; Television and DVD Player; and  Projectors. Meeting Support Services:  Photocopying services; Flipchart with easel and markers; Whiteboard with markers and erasers.

Room A: The larger of the two rooms 648 sq. ft. There are six rectangular tables that can seat up to six persons each. These tables can be utilized individually or combined to create a boardroom-style. The boardroom-style set-up provides room for extra tables and seating along the perimeter of the room. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot included.

Room B: A video conferencing room. It is a medium-sized meeting room measuring 792 sq. ft. Tables are arranged classroom style and can accommodate up to 25 persons. If necessary, tables can be utilized individually or combines to create a boardroom-style. The boardroom-style set-up provides room for extra tables and seating along the perimeter of the room.

Exhibit Building Approximately 6,000 sq. ft., concrete floor, exposed steel beams.    Outdoor picnic area; arena with grandstands; livestock corrals; livestock exhibit arena and buildings; stage for outdoor performances; food booths; horseshoe pits; and electricity for recreational vehicle parking available.  Home of Washakie County Fair and the Pepsi Wyoming State BBQ Championship and Blue Grass Festival and Wyoming Horseshoe Pitching Tournament.

Worland Middle School, 2150 Howell Avenue, features a 600 seat, state-of-the art auditorium designed for multi-purpose use.  Users can set out 50 – 85 more portable seats easily.  The auditorium has comfortable, cushioned seats with arm rests.  The 50’ x 33’ stage offers space for performances, presentations, and offers full sound and lighting systems.  The auditorium is air-conditioned.

Worland High School features a 185 seat “Little Theater” and is technology-equipped for presentations, seminars and lectures. The Theater has comfortable, cushioned seats with arm rests, complete sound and audio system, video projection, and much more. Lighting is versatile.  The Little Theater is air-conditioned.
